The Benedictine Fellowship of Saint Laurence Saint Laurence

Cemetery

Until Lord Jesus Christ's Second Coming, Christians need to consider the temporary resting place of themselves and their loved ones.

NEW: Here is a funeral checklist for your planning purposes.

Here are some photos of the cemetery.

Here is a brochure of the cemetery to help you and your loved ones determine if the Benedictine Fellowship of St. Laurence is the right temporary resting place for you and/or for them.

Richard WoolleyRichard Thomas Woolley was born in Denver in 1925 and served in the U.S. Navy in WW II . He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1949 followed by graduate work at Utah State, New York U., and U. of Southern California. He married Jeanne Macy on 13 June 1953. They have three children: John, Beth, and Jane plus 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dick was happiest with his family who all adored him. He loved to sing in Church choirs and was a Barbershop singer. He loved the Colorado mountains and would be wonderfully pleased with his burial place at St. Laurence. He loved the Lord and always tried to live each day as God would want.  Richard is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanne, and son Dn. John (Kristine), daughters Beth (Rishard) and Jane (Andy), and 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Richard passed away on August 4th, 2008 and is laid to rest August 11th.

Sandra Monica TakalaSandra Monica Takala, 1947-2008. At her Chrismation two weeks before her death, she chose the name Monica because she liked the idea of taking the name of a Saint who prayed for the salvation of her son. She told me (her daughter) she would pray for her five grandsons while she was on this earth and after her death. Thanks be to God for my mother and her namesake. Sandra is survived by her parents, Dave and Mary, and her daughters Tracy Elizabeth (Joel) and Brooke, and five grandsons: Austin, Luke, Samuel, Nathan, and Russell. Sandi passed away August 7th, 2008 and is laid to rest August 12, 2008. Rest eternal grant unto them.

Introductory price of burial plots at the Benedictine Fellowship of Saint Laurence is $1,000.00.  $750.00 of the burial price is a donation to the Fellowship.  Write to Father John Connely to request a plot. Here is a map of the plots. An additional $300 is needed for vaults for the cemetery plots as a prudent device for preservation of the grave site.
