Fr. Lester Michael BundyVery Reverend Fr. Lester Michael Bundy (biography) of St. Columba Orthodox Church from 8 PM October 9 through 2 PM October 11.  This retreat will focus on a brief overview of the origin and history of Benedictine tradition.  Emphasis will be placed on the parochial development and adaptation of Benedictine tradition and it's modern application.  The format of the retreat roughly followed a traditional Benedictine monastic day with segments of time through the day for corporate prayer, study, reflection and work.

2009 November

Presvytera Susan WallacePresvtera Susan Wallace (biography), St. Andrew Orthodox Church, Oklahoma City had a Women's Retreat "The Bride" from November 6th - 8th, 2009.

You were created for more. Obviously, our original parents, Adam and Eve, hindered our ability to live as we were created to live in the Peaceful realm of Paradise and the Trinity's Holy Presence. But then, Jesus came and restored our union with the Godhead. So why are so many of us living mediocre spiritual lives? Perhaps, we have forgotten who we are......The Bride of Christ.

Through a study of the pattern of the Tabernacle, which He gave to His Bride, Israel, and an examination of the life of His Bride, The Blessed Virgin Mary, we will rediscover who we are as His Bride, the Church. Then we can become 'beautifully dressed for our Husband' (Rev. 21:2) as we embrace our individual identity as His Beloved Bride. “Come Away, My Beloved” and become who you were created to be.....a confidant woman of excellence who lives in Peace and Rest in the Almighty Presence of God.
